About the Business
Since being founded in 2001 it has grown rapidly and now works extensively in the commercial and residential property sectors. MPE was set up by former Cammell Laird shipyard managers John Whetnall and Cliff Grainger, both highly experienced and qualified tradesmen with a background in both the maritime and commercial property sectors. Today MPE has a turnover in excess of £2m and employs more than 30 staff at its manufacturing site in Birkenhead, in the Liverpool City Region, situated on the west coast of the UK.
It continues to invest extensively in its joinery, polishing, spraying and upholstery facilities as well as its workforce. It is further fundamental to MPE's outlook that it provides value for investment. MPE prides itself on being able to offer a complete solution for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of furniture, soft furnishings and upholstery.
